BMW Brilliance Automotive Ltd.

The BMW Group and its partner, Brilliance China Automotive Holdings Limited (CBA), embark on a joint venture in the People's Republic of China. This undertaking includes production, marketing and after-sales activities for BMW vehicles. The mid-term goal of the joint venture established by BMW Group and CBA is to reach sales figures of approx. 30,000 units a year for the BMW 3 series and 5 series in the Chinese market. Production is scheduled to commence in the latter half of 2003, and the vehicles are intended for the domestic market only.
The plant will be located in Shenyang, the capital of the province of Liaoning in the North East of the country. This is one of China's most important industrial regions. The joint venture will employ roughly 3,000 people.

Projects scope:

  • Shielded Cat. 6 physical cabling plant infrastructure, primarily using Corning STP450 and Rittal IP55 industrial-grade cabinets
  • More than 3000 information points and 2000-core fiber connections throughout seven plants and one office building
  • Full fault tolerant network connections through two data centres, redundant fiber links and backup switches
  • Cisco multi-layer data switching, routing network with firewall protection
  • Wireless LAN network coverage for logistic area
  • HP Server park and printers
  • HP tape library backup systems
    Microsoft, Veritas core application software
  • IT Help desk in Beijing and Shenyang

 

Saint-Gobain Research (Shanghai) Co. Ltd.

Saint-Gobain is among the Global 5 hundred companies and is among the world's hundred leading industrial corporations. It specializes in the design, production and distribution of functional materials. Established in more than 50 countries, Saint-Gobain is the market leader in each of its core businesses.
The new center in Shanghai will become one of the major R&D Center of Saint-Gobain and will be made up of three major parts: R&D Groups, TSS(Technical Share Service) Groups and General Supporting Groups.

Volkswagen China

Volkswagen first came to China in 1984 with the establishment of Shanghai Volkswagen. Since then, Volkswagen has made itself a nationally recognized brand name with factories and offices throughout China. ITR first began working with Volkswagen Group China in 1999 with an upgrade of the voice network in their Beijing World Trade Center office. Following that project, ITR provided extensive data, voice and cabling services for Volkswagen in multiple locations:

  • Volkswagen Group China, Beijing’s World Trade Center
  • VADCO, Beijing’s Kerry Centre
  • VW-FAW Joint Venture Production Facility; Changchun, Jilin
  • Volkswagen Transmission, Shanghai’s Jiading District

Beijing Digital IT Broadband Networks

Beijing Digital ITBN was founded in late 2000 as one of the capital area’s first providers of broadband Internet access over the cable TV network. Since then, Beijing Digital has grown to offer Internet access through building connections, cable modems, ISDN dial-up, and E1 connectivity in both Beijing and Shanghai. ITR has provided comprehensive consultancy, planning, and integration services to Beijing Digital since it was founded. In 2002 we completed roll-out of a hybrid fiber-coaxial broadband network to 40,000 residential nodes in the Changping district. Later that year, ITR engineers helped Beijing Digital become one of the first ISP’s in Beijing to implement fiber connectivity throughout the city.

DHL-Sinotrans

Founded in 1986 as a joint venture between DHL and Sinotrans, DHL-Sinotrans is now one of the largest providers of international express air mail inside and outside of China. ITR first worked with DHL-Sinotrans during a call center installation in the Beijing suburbs when DHL required a quality provider of standardized systems for small and medium contact centers. Since then, ITR has implemented LAN based call center monitoring packages throughout China as part of a Chinawide service agreement. Since the beginning of 2002, ITR has installed voice networks and call centers in:

  • Beijing (3 locations)
  • Shijiazhuang, Hebei
  • Shenzhen, Guangdong
  • Hefei, Anhui
