on the hospitality industry solutions. 15th January 2004 - ITR's sister company, IT Broadband completes DID test phase for Shanghai IT Broadband has successfully completed the test phase for DID service in Shanghai. DID ("direct inward dialing") is a feature of telephone networks common in the West. This feature allows every office telephone to be reached via a direct line number -- i.e. no need to dial an extension. Until now, this service has not been generally available in China. In conjunction with China's Railcom, starting 1 Feb 2004 IT Broadband will begin to offer DID service to the metropolitan Shanghai area. November 2003 - ITR Becomes Microsoft Gold Solutions Partner 17th November 2003 - ITR's sister company IT Brandband announces new partnership IT Broadband's Chief Operations Officer Mr. Lu Yutao has announced the conclusion of a partnership agreement with China's Railcom Group to provide voice services in the Shanghai metropolitan area. After an initial test phase, IT Broadband will provide Shanghai-area companies and buildings with Shanghai area code telephone numbers. Besides normal local and long distance access, IT Broadband's service will also include the provision of DID (direct inward dialing) service. Customers will be provided with a minimum of 100 numbers per line, thus providing all staff with direct dial numbers. Once equiped with these numbers, staff can be reached with having to dial extension numbers.

Using two different digital VoIP solutions, IT Resources has now set up a multi-site PBX that is configured as one virtual system. The PBXs are linked via instant digital VoIP connections. Unlike the more common analog VoIP in use in 99.9% of private VoIP installations in China, digital VoIP has no time delay and allows the transparent networking of multiple compatible PBXs.
